These pine boxes with a sliding top are inspired by boxes once used in France to house objects for which patents or copyrights were being obtained. They were sealed for posterity with dollops of sealing wax and linen string. Ours have 2 signature Bell'occhio "B" seals and a variety of labels with calligraphy in sepia ink. 4-3/4" x 3-1/4" x 2".
